The Studio Standard

Inspired by the first mass produced solid body electric guitar the Studio Standard is the basis for just about everything I build. The Studio Standard embodies many of those original design concepts including bolt-on neck, integrated bridge/adjustable pickup mount, accessible top-mounted control plate, simple slab body, and versatile 3-way circuit. All making it easy to service, a perfect modding platform, and a do it yourselfer’s dream.

The basic Studio Standard will completely meet the needs of many players but also serves as the jumping off point for those seeking to create something customized to their personal taste. Like a curious chef I take a classic concept and expand it by adding updated components and methods to produce a timeless instrument that easily spans musical styles from vintage Americana to avant garde jazz.
